How the calculation works
- Material = grams ÷ 1000 × filament price per kg.
- Electricity = watts ÷ 1000 × hours × price per kWh.
- Labor = minutes ÷ 60 × your hourly rate.
- Failure buffer = a percentage of (material + energy + labor), because some prints fail and you still paid for them.
- Suggested price = total cost × (1 + markup%).
