How do I calculate what I need on the final?
Enter your current grade, target overall grade, and the final's weight. The tool solves: required = (target − current × (1 − weight)) ÷ weight.
What if the required score is over 100%?
Your target isn't reachable from the final alone — even a perfect final falls short. The tool shows the maximum grade you can still reach.
What if it shows a very low or negative number?
You've already done enough — even a low score still meets your target. The tool flags when the grade is effectively secured.
Does "current grade" include the final?
No — enter your grade from everything except the final, plus the final's weight.
